The IPKat and family
One of the longest-established bloggers on IP law is Prof Jeremy Phillips whose The IPKat group blog is passionate about IP. Since June 2003 the IPKat has covered copyright, patent, trade mark, infotech and privacy/confidentiality issues from a mainly UK and European perspective.

PatLit covers patent litigation law, practice and strategy.
The SPC blog is dedicated to the issues that arise when supplementary protection certificates extend patents beyond their normal life.

NIPCLAW is by Jane Lambert, barrister, providing news and comment on intellectual property, technology, media, entertainment and competition law from the UK, EC and around the world. Jane also produces IP North West which focuses on news and gossip on intellectual property law on the Northern Circuit of England.
Ipso Jure by Peter Groves, solicitor, provides blog commentary, a free online textbook on intellectual property and a monthly IP podcast.
IP brands blog by Shireen Smith, solicitor, Azrights, provides commentary on trademarks, copyright, internet marketing, social networking, search engine optimisation, protection of reputations and brands on the internet.
LG blogs IP is Lawrence Graham’s angle on intellectual property, media and sport issues.
IP Draughts, from members of Anderson Law LLP, is mainly about intellectual property contracts.

IPEdinburgh by Dr Abbe Brown, AHRC Research Centre, University of Edinburgh, is an exploration of the interface between IP, competition and human rights, and its contribution to access to technologies.
IP finance is a group blog that looks at financial issues for intellectual property rights: securitisation and collateral, IP valuation for acquisition and balance sheet purposes, tax and R&D breaks, film and product finance, calculating quantum of damages – anything that happens where IP meets money.
